Travelling Vol. Bali
I went to Bali, Indonesia for the first time with my best friend in 2011. Initially, it was supposed to be a group of friends, but somehow we just couldn’t arrange the schedule to accommodate everyone, so in the end only two of us actually make it there.
This is one of those trips I went with friend, not with family.
Day 1
We stayed at AlamKulKul resort which is just a stone throw away from the beach :
We find a christmas tree made out of corn quite interesting, lol :
After dinner, we went out to the beach for a stroll under the moonlight, lol :
We spent our first night in Bali getting drunk with absolute vodka Cherry in our own suite, images were too obscene to be shown here, I’ll leave that to your imagination :
Day 2
Still not fully sober yet, we were picked up by our private guide/driver; a really cool bro.
The morning part of the day was pretty much spent in the water , we went off for scuba diving first thing in the morning. (I can’t recall the actual order of the activity)
After that we went for our lunch and then off to the next destination which is turtle island. In order to get there, we have to catch a ferry with riding time of about 20 minutes or so.
Here a look inside the attraction, nothing special just some wild animal enclosures :
You can take photos with them, boy do I love that python.
We had some javanese coffee before leaving the island :
Next, we went to this really great spot which I can’t recall the name lol ,very crowded, flocked with tourists and locals. The water and waves are amazing :
Deal with it :
Peace!!
With that, we left ocean behind and climbed the attitude to Uluwatu Temple :
Found our long lost brother :
Yeah, you can’t get any cooler than that :
Our driver right there; really patient with us :
We were dead hungry by the time we climbed down from the temple, so we decided to head off to Bali’s famous live seafood restaurant Jimbaran seafood. Awesome food, chillax ambience with live band and most of all damn pricey.
Too busy with food and forgot to take photos, here some from the internet :
It’s seafood with candle light on the beach, so it’s actually more ideal for couples or family.
But didn’t matter, me and my bud dig hard into the food.
Day 3
On our last day in Bali, we decided to do it freestyle without itinerary or whatsoever. We had a long walked on the beach from one end to the other :
Had lunch in some random restaurant :
For the rest of the day we went into the town to hunt for some souvenirs and tidbits. Walking around the town just bouncing off from one place to another and we concluded our last night in Bali.
